Citric acid is used to prevent EMS(Early Mortality Syndrome) which has a mortality rate exceed 70% wgich has a common cause by bacteria which are Vibro parachaemolyticus and Bacteriophage when these two bacterias are merge causing a toxin to shrimp's liver and body system failure which is EMS.</p>
